We provide our internal audit services using a discounted hourly billing rate or, alternatively, on a monthly retainer basis, depending on the needs of the company. Typically, during the first year, we will provide the company with an estimated fee for our services and charge for them using our discounted hourly rates in order to get a bearing on the nature and scope of services that will be most appropriate and affordable for the company. After our initial year, we present the company with an alternative billing arrangement that will include fixed fees for the recurring portion of our services.

Because much of our internal audit work is performed outside our traditional “busy season” from January through March, we can afford to discount our internal audit rates significantly from out standard rates. Although each engagement will be different as to the number of hours, type of work and the timing of our work, the typical discount from our standard hourly rates is thirty percent (30%).
